The location is great. The room was clean.
The rooms were not quite modern and were already a bit outdated.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got an Istanbulcard on loan, which we could load up as needed. The view from the breakfast room was overwhelming - Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Marmara Sea are within reach.
The room was a bit cramped for two people with two suitcases - but we could arrange it.

Very nice hotel, terrace with sea view is a dream, we enjoyed it. Breakfast plentiful and delicious. Staff super nice. We will definitely be back. Thank you Ferman!
Everything was fine, except the balcony was too small in the room

The rooftop views were fine, and we loved how the hotel was just a short walk to historic sites.

The excellent staff, always helpful and friendly with good advice. Ece Acar at reception was especially pleasant and helpful. Proximity of hotel to main sights of the city.
Room we had on the lower ground floor had the worst view ever! Trains were a bit noisy.

I appreciated the hotel's charming decor and the warm, inviting atmosphere in all common areas. The rooftop terrace offered a amazing view of the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.
More variety in breakfast options would be nice.

- Price/Quality rate. - Location - really just 5 minutes of slow walk to Sultanahmet square and Blue Mosque, about 7-10 min slow walk to Hagya Sofia. - Gorgeous views from King's room and breakfast terrace. - Spacious room & balcony with magnificent view of Marmara sea, Bosphorus and Golden Horn. - king-size bed and large (queen size) folding sofa with excellent mattresses. - tea set to boil water and take tea right in the room. Hotel offers different tea (black, green, olive, herbal) in pouches as a beau geste. The first thing a traveller can do upon checking-in is to make a refreshing tea and enjoy it sitting at the balcony. - very friendly and quick to respond personnel.
- Railway just under the hotel windows. - Hotel restaurant provides only breakfast. To have a 3 course-dinner one should go out which is not always comfortable, particularly after the long-day walking. - The transparent glass table with sharp angles in King's room. For people with weak sight it's a mere danger. My family members bumped into the angles a few times getting the bruises.

The rooms adjacent to the lobby were very bright, roomy and the decor, modern. Lots of hot water with great water pressure. Responsive room temperature control. (Important because Istanbul can get very cold). The charming and attentive staff, the cherry on top.
